Ten years ago, Milan already had the privilege of hosting the annual meeting of the ENS. In these ten years there has been a huge development both in knowledge on basic mechanisms of neurodegenerative inflammatory and genetic developments, as well as within neuroimaging and neurophysiological techniques in combination with advanced genetics studies, contributing to substantial progress in treatments. 21st Century Bioanalytical Laboratory: Maximizing Quality and Efficiency through Innovation
