ASGA's Northeast Student Government Training Conference
Apr 4, 2009 - Apr 4, 2009,
Moore College of Art and Design Philadelphia, Pennsylvania United States

Come to Philadelphia for Student Government Training!

At the "Northeast SG Training Conference," you'll improve your SG while experiencing the history and hometown charm of "The City of Brotherly Love."

In your free time, snap photos next to the Liberty Bell or by Independence Hall, where colonial leaders adopted Thomas Jefferson's Declaration of Independence. If you're hungry, try an "authentic" cheesesteak from Pat's or stroll through the Reading Terminal Market to sample everything from hoagies and water ice to Asian fare and fresh pretzals made by Amish bakers. If you're a bargain hunter, take advantage of tax-free shopping at some of the nation's largest retail centers. In the evening, check out Philly's vibrant nightlife, with venues ranging from local sports bars to trendy clubs and lounges.

Any SG leader from any school, no matter what state you're from, is welcome to attend!

The 2009 Northeast Student Government Training Conference features:

5th Thought Leaders International Conference on Brand Management
Apr 4, 2009 - Apr 7, 2009,
Athens, Greece

After 4 years of successfully running the respected Thought Leaders International Conference on Brand Management at the Centre for Research in Brand Marketing in Birmingham (UK), the same team of academics is planning to host the next conference from Monday 6 to Tuesday 7 April 2009 in Athens (Greece). The international organising committee is working to ensure a continuation of the tradition that leading thinkers from both the northern and southern hemispheres present refereed papers of a consistently high quality.

This international conference seeks to engender the advancement of knowledge about brand management amongst scholars by disseminating new research and by encouraging the evolution of new research themes. It also aims to narrow the gap between academia and commerce by having presentations from internationally renowned practitioners whose significant senior experience is regarded as being at the cutting edge of application. Parallel tracks of double blind refereed papers will enable authors to gain constructive comments about their papers and extend their knowledge horizon from other researchers.
