The aim of this seminar is to explore the technologies available to design power plants for carbon capture, the technologies for the capture process itself and the provisions will allow carbon capture to be installed at a later date, transportation options for carbon dioxide and the technology and options for storage of carbon dioxide.

Global demand for thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) is forecast to increase 6.3% per year through 2011 to 3.7 million metric tonnes, according to The Freedonia Group. Although global TPE sales will remain concentrated in the developed markets of the US, Western Europe and Japan, particularly for high performance materials such as copolyesters (COPEs) and thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs), growth prospects through 2011 will be strongest in developing countries where markets have initially focused on low cost styrenic block copolymers (SBCs). China is forecast to expand its share of the world market from under 30% in 2006 to over 33% in 2011, and is significantly diversifying into thermoplastic polyolefins (TPOs) and thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs).

When properly implemented, services can be discovered and invoked dynamically using non-proprietary mechanisms, while each service can still be implemented in a black-box manner. This is important from a business perspective since each service can be implemented using any technology, independently of the others. What matters is that everybody agrees on the integration technology, and there is a consensus about this in today’s middleware market: customers want to use Web technologies. Despite these promises, however, service integrators, developers, and providers need to create methods tools and techniques to support cost-effective development and the use of dependable services and service-oriented applications.
