Furniture China 2008: The 13th China International Furniture Expo

The organizers of China International Furniture Expo announce that exhibition space has been completely sold out: 1662 companies have confirmed their participation (up 10 % on 1520 in 2006) on a net floor space of 105.000 sqm (up 22%). The relevance of Furniture China as a regional event for Asia is highlighted by the fact that participation from international exhibitors has increased to almost 10.000 net sq m.

The exhibition will take place from September 12-15, 2007 at Shanghai New International Exhibition Center, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and Pudong Exhibition Center. Exhibitors can be previewed at the newly launched website www.furnitureinchina.com.

The organizers, China National Furniture Association and CMP Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co. expect 60,000 visitors to the 4-days show, including 15,000 international attendants from 150 countries.

In a parallel event the World Furniture Congress will be staged from 11-12 of September. About 50 speakers and 800 delegates will discuss concerns and issues related to the globalization of the furniture industries.
