University of Pennsylvania, State College, Pennsylvania United StatesProfessional and amateur mycologists can explore a broad spectrum of topics in fungal biology—including ecology, systematics, pathology, cell biology, genetics, and genomics—through research talks, a poster session, special symposia, and lectures at the 2008 meeting of the Mycological Society of America (MSA).
The meeting will also feature an array of local fungi from the surrounding Appalachian Mountains, and social events in and around the Penn State University Park campus.
Individuals or organization representatives interested in presenting at the meeting should check the conference Web site, http://www.outreach.psu.edu/conference/Mycology, early in 2008 for a call for papers.
