Food & Hotel Arabia
May 13, 2008 - May 17, 2008,
Jeddah International Exhibition & Convention Center Jeddah, Mecca, Saudi Arabia

Initially conceived and launched as a food and beverage exhibition some 20 years ago, the show has continually developed its profile in line with the demands of the Saudi market. The introduction of hotel and catering has, more recently, been followed by the inclusion of food processing and packaging to satisfy the demand of the Saudi food and beverage industry.

food, hotel & propac arabia has established the enviable reputation of being the main show that services the Kingdom’s demand for quality and variety in the fields of food and beverage, hotel equipment and catering together with processing and packaging.

International participation is an important element of this TrioEvent, with individual exhibitor and national group participation attracting a wide and high profile visitor audience.

This was a biennial event, however, strong demand by the food and beverage industry, as well as the related processing and packaging sector, for an annual exhibition to reflect the buoyant economy and increasing consumer requirements, has encouraged the organiser to reschedule the Kingdom’s comprehensive showcase as a yearly event. Held in Jeddah, the hub of the Saudi food and beverage industry, the annual exhibition will not only continue to provide a platform for new products to the market but also enable suppliers and buyers to react quickly changes within the market and consumer tastes.

food, hotel & propac arabia is an essential ingredient in Saudi Arabia’s professional food industry menu. It is truly:

CrownCom 2008: 3rd International Conference on Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Networks and Communications
May 13, 2008 - May 17, 2008,
Holiday Inn Atrium, 317 Outram Road, Singapore

Today, access to radio spectrum is largely based on the principle of fixed resource allocation. With the proliferation of wireless applications/services in the last couple of decades, in many countries, most of the available spectrum has been allocated. This results in the radio spectrum scarcity which poses a serious problem for the future development of the wireless communications industry. On the other hand, careful studies of the usage pattern reveal that most of the allocated spectrum experiences low utilization. This motivates the concept of dynamic spectrum access via cognitive radio technologies, which allows secondary networks to use unused or under-utilized radio spectrum from primary licensed networks.

Continuous Improvement approaches of the last few decades are being hailed as “necessary to compete” in an expanding global marketplace. But, implementing these solutions – and getting the results that please shareholders, customers and employees alike – doesn’t happen by magic. How does it happen? What are people and their organizations doing to turn the “common sense” solutions of Lean, The Theory of Constraints (TOC), and Six-Sigma into real results?

These are the questions to be answered by the speakers featured in the Continuous Process Improvement Symposiums. The annual CPI Symposium will be the only nationwide educational and networking event available to practitioners, consultants and academics that specifically covers solutions from all three major approaches of Lean, TOC, and Six-Sigma. This event is designed to offer practical and relevant information on the latest developments in applying these three methods in an integrative approach, enabling organizations to achieve breakthroughs in competitive advantage.
