NEEDS STATEMENT: There is a great need to maintain and improve the clinical diagnostic skills of the Primary Care Practitioner in view of the fact that America is aging and healthcare costs need to be controlled. Day 4 Geriatric Depression: Advances in Diagnosis and Treatment. Musculoskeletal Exam and Articular and Soft Tissue Injections for the Primary Care Physician. Contemporary Issues in End of Life Care.

Day 5 Polymyalgia Rheumatica and Giant Cell Arteritis. Risk Management and Care of the Elderly. Gout and Pseudogout in the Elderly. Improving Communication Skills in Medical Practice.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES: The overall objective is to provide the participant with practical and clinically relevant information.
