Online Traffic Optimisation
Feb 1, 2008 - Feb 1, 2008,
London, England United Kingdom

For those who couldn’t make it in 2007, the event looked not only into increasing traffic to websites but how to truly harness the sales potential from each visit! Delegates also learned strategies which boosted overall revenue by finetuning the mix of sales channels.

There are 3 main points which resonated with all those in attendance over the 2 days:-

1) It is absolutely critical for every business to take full advantage of online potential and to address any issues NOW!

2) You don't know what you don't know… the internet is still so new and constantly shifting, if you don’t keep up you will be out of touch VERY quickly.

3) Learning from our peers is vital but we're all very busy; this time spent together in intense periods of knowledge exchange, with pools of highly-experienced online experts who are willing to share is absolutely essential!

This topic will only continue to become more important each year as online sales erodes the old high street revenues.

Hotel Okura, Amsterdam, Noord Holland Netherlands

In this 2nd International Congress on Gait and Mental Function, we will provide delegates with a complete update of this rapidly advancing field. The program will contain a mixture of clinically oriented presentations and the latest scientific highlights, thus providing a mixed menu that should appeal to a broad audience. Specific new elements in this conference include the neuropharmacology behind gait and mental dysfunction; innovative rehabilitation approaches to reduce falls caused by mental dysfunction; and the importance of gait and mental dysfunction in the ageing population. One plenary session will be dedicated to oral presentations by promising young researchers who can compete for the young-investigator award. In addition, the conference will feature practical hands-on workshops for both clinicians and researchers, thereby providing a forum for interaction between the clinical setting and basic science. Delegates will thus be challenged to cross the borders of their own specialties, and the 1st Congress in Madrid showed just how fruitful this approach can be. As in the previous meeting, lectures will be presented at a leisure pace with ample time for discussion, interaction and social activities.
The 2nd International Congress on Gait and Mental Function will once again bring together researchers and clinicians from all over the world for three days of intensive clinical and scientific interactions. Community Oncology Conference

The Grand Hyatt, Washington, Distr. Columbia United States

The Community Oncology Conference is designed to strengthen the team effort required in a private practice. The challenge for private practitioners is to offer quality care effectively and efficiently and the conference specifically addresses this need in a comprehensive way. Clinical sessions will be live interactive presentations of the journal's core section Community Translations in which we summarize pivotal new research findings and place them into the context of community clinical practice from three points of view. For physicians, Are the findings meaningful enough to warrant a change in practice? For nurses, What is the most effective way to help patients deal with side effects? And for administrators, What are the economic ramifications of treatment?

The overarching goal of the conference, which will be CME accredited, mirrors that of the journal Community Oncology: offering practical information that enhances our readers' and attendees' ability to deliver quality care. In essence, we will be bringing the journal live.
