Highlights: The GRC Conference: This year’s conference has been focused on two important areas whose developments are at the cutting edge of advances in stereochemistry: asymmetric synthesis and stereocontrolled chemistry. The selection of speakers in each of these disciplines was carried out with special emphasis to represent the very latest in mechanistic and structural aspects of chemistry and biology with stereochemistry at its core. It is the hope of the organizers that it is not the ticking of the clock that moves the conference forward on a day to day basis, but rather a healthy exchange of ideas and discussion that are expected to emanate from the presentations.
