GoingToMeet

The principal purpose of this conference is to discuss important recent unpublished developments in the field. This international forum for information exchange will lead to better integration of knowledge about muscle and molecular motors from atomic resolution structures to functional roles in intact systems. Our focus is on understanding molecular mechanisms from primary processes underlying energy transduction through to integrated ensembles of molecular motors. The scientific scope encompasses: targeting and regulation of motors, structure-function studies; energy transduction mechanism; development of new techniques and modalities for studying motors in vivo and in vitro and the role and mode of action of molecular motors in infectious disease and human health. The conference also aims to foster and catalyze new collaborations between international scientists who work at the leading edge of the field.
