PTC hosts an annual conference at the end of May in conjunction with the Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities of Canada. Typically, more than 100 scholarly societies and 5,000 scholars participate in the Congress; EPTC meets for three days of sessions, each session consisting of a paper followed by a commentary. All papers are anonymously refereed.
