GoingToMeet

The Sociedad Geológica del Perú (SGP) is proud to have been designated as the organizer of the XIII Latin American Geological Congress and the XIV Peruvian Geological Congress to be carried out in Lima, between September 29- October 3, 2008. The local Organizing Commission, which is made up of representatives of the Sociedad Geológica del Perú, the Instituto Geológico, Minero y Metalúrgico (INGEMMET: ), various universities and the industry, considers that this event represents a milestone for Latin America and that it has the potential to become the point of convergence for new ideas, academic debates and innovative technology applied to geology.
