These meetings traditionally attract delegates from a large proportion of the biometrical community in Australia and New Zealand, as well as overseas. They provide the opportunity for exchange of ideas in all areas of biometrics as well as encouraging networking and collaboration.

The program will cover many of the well established and developing areas of statistics and their application in primary industries and the environment. Presentations by highly regarded international and Australian guest speakers will cover central areas of statistical methodology and application. Developments and enhancements to GenStat software will be discussed. The program will include an evening field trip to the Cambarville forest near Marysville and the option of an early morning bird watching excursion or possum trap inspection, courtesy of the Victorian Central Highlands Forest Management Study. In addition, an interesting and relaxing social program will make this conference an ideal opportunity to connect with statisticians/biometricians who support science research and development in primary industries and the environment.
