At the rate information has been dominating all aspects of our life during the last decades, one is more and more haunted by questions like: do the mega information and communication systems used worldwide today allow the individual in modern society a margin of freedom of choice to decide about his taste, opinion, time, …etc? Or: Are we producing information and using it both in the best possible ways to manage life and make good decisions? What is certain today is that information, whether used or produced, tends to become the ultimate “product” that corporate businesses, international, government and non-government institutions are using so effectively to govern (or even manipulate in some cases) modern society trends.
