The real estate market in India predominantly continues to remain unorganized, fairly fragmented, mostly characterized by small players with a local presence. Traditionally, developers were viewed with an element of skepticism. However, a lot of changes have come about since the opening of markets and corporatization of the builders as a fraternity.

In this backdrop, The Economic Times is organizing a day-long Conference called “Realty Convention 2008”, an interactive Dialogue on the Indian Realty scenario with a special emphasis on sectoral opportunities in the projected Regulatory framework on 30 July 2008 at Hotel ITC Maurya Sheraton, in New Delhi. The Summit will focus on topics which will influence the future. Ideas like the PPPs and SEZs will form the backbone of discussion in this Convention.
