The Agri-Food Industry Skills Council will host its third National Conference in Melbourne in September (Welcoming drinks event on the evening of Wednesday, 24 September).

The conference theme reflects our expanding national focus to identify, understand and address current and future skills and workforce needs for the agri-food industry.

Engage with decision-makers and thought leaders, industry, enterprises, peak bodies, RTOs, governments, research organisations and agencies of change on issues that affect you. Bring your ideas to the table to influence the future.

Discuss implications from ‘Skilling Australia for the Future’ and the Productivity Places Program. How can they best be used to lift workforce participation and productivity in your industry?

Funding is being provided for an additional 450,000 training places over the next four years. We need to work together to ensure that the agri-food industry maximises the places it gets from this program.
