GoingToMeet

The Scientific EOS Annual Meeting 2008 is the most important event of the EOS. It will be held in Paris, France, from 29 September to 02 October 2008, on the occasion of the OPTO-exhibition 2008 (30 September to 02 October 2008) at Paris-Nord Villepinte, Parc d’expositions et Centre de Conventions. In 2006, the conjunction of these two events proved to be a great success. More than 600 experts in the field of optics and photonics from 32 countries all over the world attended the event which offered six topical meetings as well as a huge poster area to its participants. Due to this great success, the organisers - EOS, SFO (the French Branch of the EOS) and OPTO - decided to hold the EOS Annual Meeting for a second time as an accompanying programme alongside the OPTO exhibition. For 2008 even more attendees are expected to join the event, which will feature seven topical meetings as well as an education workshop.
