Advances in Materials and Processing Technologies (AMPT) conference series was founded in 1993 at the Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland and held there in 1993, 1995, 1999 and 2003. Moreover, it has taken place so far in Portugal in 1997, Malaysia in 1998, Spain in 2001, Poland in 2004, and USA in 2006. In 2007, it will be held in Daejeon, Korea. Next year AMPT conference will be held in Manama Kingdom of Bahrain from November 2 - 5, 2008.

The conference provides a chance for academics, researchers, and engineers to meet and exchange innovative ideas and information on all aspects of material processing technologies.

The AMPT 2008 Conference organizers invite quality papers from researchers and practitioners from academic as well as industry within the scope of the conference subjects. Sessions will be developed according to the level of interest for each Conference topic.
