SIGITE is the Special Interest Group for Information Technology Education of the ACM. This is the eighth conference in the series that began with CITC-1 in 2001 and most recently included SIGITE 2007 in Sandestin, Florida. During this period we have progressed from a small set of interested parties into a fully functioning ACM Special Interest Group.
