The scope of the NASTEC is trace element analysis, using atomic spectroscopy or other measurement
techniques. NASTEC is organized on a rotating schedule within the Nordic countries, but anyone interested
from near or far is most welcome to participate. All participants are encouraged to present their
scientific work with a lecture or poster. Those having a suitable material to present (within the
scope of the conference) should send an abstract using a form, downloadable from the
conference website (“Information for authors”).

A healthy analytical community depends on sound and steady recruitment of young analysts. It is
of a great importance that these are integrated as early as possible in our information and social
network. We, the organizers of the 20th NASTEC, do therefore especially welcome participation
by students of analytical chemistry and other young analysts.
