Highlights

This conference is part of the celebration of the 120th anniversary of the opening of the Institut Pasteur, which was created in 1888 to develop studies on vaccination and infection. Louis Pasteur indeed prepared the first live attenuated virus vaccine against rabies.

The conference will enhance knowledge on the biology of neurotropic agents and the molecular pathogenesis of the diseases they cause. It will start on Wednesday September 10, 2008 in the afternoon with the keynote lectures and a reception. There will be 6 Plenary Sessions, each with an introductory lecture, and Poster Sessions every day. The meeting will continue through Saturday September 13.
