1st International Symposium on Process Chemistry

Jul 28, 2008 - Jul 30, 2008
Kyoto International Conference Center Kyoto Japan

Highlights

It is a great honor and pleasure for me to invite you cordially to participate in the First International Symposium on Process Chemistry (ISPC 08) which will be held in Kyoto from 28-30 July, 2008, under the auspices of the Japanese Society for Process Chemistry (JSPC).

JSPC was founded in 2001, just beginning of this century, after several symposia and discussions between process chemistry directors of industries, especially pharmaceutical ones, and university professors. It has symposia twice a year (summer and winter). Members of JSPC belong to pharmaceutical and chemical industries, manufacturers of pharmaceuticals intermediates, universities, and so on. A number of participants to the symposia are yearly increasing, e.g., 419 in 2002 summer symposium → 823 in 2007 summer symposium.

Both industrial and academic chemists who have interests on process chemistry will be cordially invited to ISPC 08 to present and discuss the recent progress of various areas of process chemistry.

ISPC 08 will include keynote lectures by top runners of process chemistry in the world, selected short communications, poster presentations, and exhibitions. Mutual understanding among participants will be actively deepened in coffee break of the lectures, welcome party, and banquet.
