Highlights: The Congress is being organized by FESCI (Federation of the European Societies for Chemotherapy and for Infection), MSC (The Mediterranean Society of Chemotherapy), TSC (The Turkish Society of Chemotherapy) and TSM (Turkish Microbiological Society), and is under the auspices of ISC (International Society of Chemotherapy). This congress will include all topics of microbiology and infectious diseases, including basic experimental and clinical science aspects. Recent developments in molecular and genetic fields concerning bacteria, viruses, fungi and immunity will also be considered. And of course, diseases prevalent in various parts of Europe and the Mediterranean area will be included in the topics.
