The care of hematologic malignancies, such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, has been revolutionized by the integration of monoclonal antibodies into treatment. However, a substantial proportion of patients are refractory to these antibodies and others develop resistance, leading to the development of a number of second-generation treatments designed to overcome these limitations. The Next Generation of Monoclonal Antibodies in CLL and NHL symposium will educate physicians about novel monoclonal antibody therapies for chronic lymphocytic leukemia and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Physicians who attend this program will be introduced to new clinical trial data on burgeoning therapeutics and will apply this information to appropriate patient scenarios.
