The objective of this program is two fold, first to describe the law governing employment / industrial relations, namely the Employment Act 1955 and the Industrial Relations Act 1967, secondly how the law governs and/or creates principles for harmony at the working place. The law on employee & employer relationship is cardinal not only to the parties concerned but our nation in general as it generates incomes for all parties concerned. It goes without saying that this program is a must for all employees and employers to know not only their rights but the respective responsibilities to each other.
Objectives

* Participants will have a clear understanding of the law governing employer & employee relations;
* Participants will understand the difference between the Employment Act 1955 & The Industrial Relations Act 1967;
* Participants will understand their rights, responsibilities under the relevant law of employment;
* The program also provides the way for harmony in relation to employer & employee at the working place;
* Participants will understand the policy governing termination, retrenchment, dismissal, retirement clearly.
