Conference is organized by the Institute of Sociological Studies (Faculty of Social Science) at Charles University in Prague with the Methodological Section of the Masaryk Sociological Society.

The Advanced Lazarsfeldian Methodology conference focuses on advanced in social science methodology and its applications. This conference is connected with the issuing of the book Advanced Lazarsfeldian Methodology (Jeřábek, Soukup eds.). The authors of the book will take part in the conference with presentation of their chapters (Hynek Jerabek – „Paul Lazarsfeld’s Methodological Innovations“, Julie Häuberer – „Latent class analysis“, Petr Soukup – „Hierarchical Linear Models“, Ondrej Veis – „Panel analysis“, Jiri Remr – „Evaluation Research“)
