AMI is pleased to announce a new event: Pipeline Coating 2009 will take place from 26-28 January 2009 at 'The Imperial Riding School Vienna a Renaissance Hotel', Vienna, Austria. The conference starts with registration and an evening drinks reception on the first day, followed by a 2-day programme of expert presentations.

Global macroeconomic changes are causing the maps of energy supply and demand to be redrawn. In conjunction with high oil prices, this trend has generated a remarkable increase in pipeline construction and pipeline-related activities. This is not just a quantitative change, but also a qualitative one: the technical requirements are ever more demanding, as pipelines are required to operate under harsher conditions of service.
