African countries grappling with aircraft safety complaince and lax aviation rules are banding together to improve air safety. As global hunger for African petroleum, natural resources and cheap labour boosts demand for air travel to and around the continent, the need for solutions is more urgent. Much of the problem is oversight. Many African countries barely regulate their skies and planes. But even those trying to make flying safer face huge obstacles. It is for this reason that IQPC brings to you the 3rd Annual Aviation Safety And Security Africa Conference 2008.

This event will see the gathering of stakeholders from the aviation authorities, various African airlines, security professionals and public sector who have a vested interest in wanting to alleviate the aviation challenges facing the African continent. This event will address the issues on how to eradicate corruption, minimise risk and change global perceptions during three days of incisive learning and debate.
