The mechanical metrology underlies all technical and scientific developments in areas as diverse as metalworking, metallurgy, health care, energy sources, aerospace, nanotechnology, among many others. Many quantities are involved within its scope.


With this in mind, Inmetro and the brazilian metrology community organizes the First Mechanical Metrology Congress (I CIMMEC), expecting to receive in the city of Rio de Janeiro a great and varied contribution from metrology professionals from Brazil and abroad to show their technical works and developed research, through oral and posters presentations, or, as well, to attend this Congress as an opportunity to acquire and update their knowledge in the different thematic areas of the event.


Manufacturers and dealers of measuring equipment and standards, as well as, of auxiliary accessories and of bibliographic material, will have the chance to expose their products and services in stands at the Fair, which will take place along the Congress.
