The Convening committee for ABG08 is well into the organisation of the meeting and promises a conference that is educational and stimulating but which does not neglect to take advantage of the wonders of Sydney Harbour. July,August sees Sydney at its best, with warm weather and sunshine through the weeks. It is warm to enjoy outdoor activities evenings, by the pool or at the beach, catching up with friends and colleagues.

The committee has chosen a wide range of topics of "Brachytherapy" including prostate cancer Brachytherapy, Breast cancer Brachytherapy and Gynaecological and Medical Physics aspects of Brachyterapy with emphasis on real time Dosimetry and Dosaddaptive Brachytherapy to reflect the trends that are having such and impact on the practice of radiation oncology generally. ABG meetings have always proved to be a valuable forum for the discussion of hot issues in Brachytherapy.
