"Nanotechnology and Photovoltaics at UT Austin:From Basic Research to Commercialization"

May 28, 2008 - May 28, 2008
University of Texas at Austin, Nano Science and Technology Building (NST) Austin, Texas United States

Highlights

Austin’s evolution as a high technology center has a multi-faceted origin. But none is more important than the technology and research expertise at UT Austin, and the many talented UT Austin students who graduate and decide to begin their careers here. The next SEMI Austin Forum offers a special look at some of the fastest-growing and most critical areas of research and commercialization at UT Austin: nanotechnology and photovoltaics. Join your colleagues and customers to hear key members of the UT Austin staff:

—Share information on intellectual property and commercialization processes at UT;
—Introduce UT Austin research faculty and graduate students ;
—Provide information on hiring opportunities of seasoned graduate and undergraduate students who specialize in nanotechnology and photovoltaics.

The program will include a tour of the Nano Science and Technology Building; a poster session featuring research in nanotechnology, photovoltaics, and materials science of UT Austin graduate students; and information on how to identify and hire UT Austin graduates.
