The conference represents an important milestone for The Motorship, which has been running leading marine technology events throughout the world for more than 30 years.

Following the success of the Motorship Propulsion Conference and the Motorship Fuels and Emissions Conference in 2007, the two complimentary events have been combined to form a bigger, better, more in-depth Conference in 2008.

Supported once again by BIMCO, the world's largest private shipping organisation with 2720 members worldwide and attracting high calibre speakers and delegates from all over the world, the 30th Motorship Propulsion & Emissions Conference is a crucial date in your diary for 2008.

The chairman for the event is Lars Carlsson, who is the Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Shipping Emissions and Abatement Trading Association (SEAaT). Mr Carlsson has close ties with the conference city being a former President of the Gothenburg-based Concordia Maritime tanker company.
