As the landscape of primary care in Australia continues to change, so to does the role of the practice nurse. Practice nurses are an integral part of the primary care team, both in terms of providing patient care and contributing to practice profitability. The PNCE, or Practice Nurse Clinical Education has grown out of the ever-increasing importance of the practice nurse and their contribution to general practice.

PNCE aims to educate, update and refresh practice nurses across key clinical areas applied in day-to-day primary care. It also provides a forum in which practice nurses can network and discuss issues which are specifically and currently relevant to nursing in general practice in Australia.
