This conference will aim to address this by disseminating our dialogue to decision-makers at all levels. We will help them to detonate the true revolution!

Digital Dialogues will attract delegates from across Australia, the Tasman Sea and from around our Global Village. They will be comprised of teachers of media studies and production, including teachers of English, arts, IT and social studies. Also there will be academics in education, literacy, media studies, communication studies and journalism, industry practitioners and policy makers, as well as media studies students.

The conference theme of Digital Dialogues refers to:

• Youth media production and opportunities for creating their own digital dialogues;
•Dialogues about young people and new media present in local and global communities;
• Regulation of market-driven dialogues - Media, corporate and government control;
• Creating dialogues across the curriculum (multiliteracies);
• Distributing our own dialogues.
