Highlights: The annual Analytical Research Forum (ARF) is the premier Analytical Science meeting of the RSC and will be held this year at the University of Hull. The meeting is primarily for early-stage analytical science researchers (industrial scientists, PhD students and postdoctoral fellows) to present their latest results in the context of the wider analytical science community.

The programme, which features both poster sessions and lectures, will include oral presentations from students, medal winners and international leaders in the field. Following the success of the 2007 meeting, we expect this meeting to be attended by around 200 delegates.
