The SSHA program is developed through networks of people interested in particular topics or approaches to interdisciplinary history. Paper and session proposals should be submitted to the appropriate SSHA network(s): Criminal Justice/Legal; Culture; Economics, Education; Family/Demography; Health/Medicine/Body; Historical Geography; Labor; Macro-historical Dynamics; Migration/Immigration; Politics; Race & Ethnicity; Rural; States & Societies; Urban; Women & Gender. Prior discussion with network representatives is encouraged but not required. For a list of current network representatives and network home pages, see http://ssha.org/networks. If you are not certain about which network to send your proposal to, ask the representatives of the network closest to your interests, or ask the program committee co-chairs. Papers and Panels on themes not related to the “It’s About Time” theme are also welcome.
