On behalf of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA), the Scientific Committee and the Local Organizing Committee we invite you to the 2nd Conference of Migrant Health in Europe. Theme: Migration, Health and Sustainable Development; A European Perspective. The aim is to bring together new and innovative research - in particular with a Public Health emphasis. Migration has unquestionably become a prominent feature of globalization and comprises of several forms; labour migration (including health care personnel) and migration because of war and civil unrest and/or natural disasters. All those types of migration involve different challenges to Public Health and national Health Care systems. It is also becoming increasingly obvious that Human Rights issues are brought to the centreof the discussion in relation to this, and that Migration and Health is a topic clearly linked to strategic planning for a sustainable social and economical development in European countries.
