Carbon Finance Asia 2008 is the only platform where international CERs buyers and investors meet carbon project owners and developers in Asia to discuss potential deals and partnership opportunities.
With Asia being the largest supplier of carbon credits to the international community, this will be an unparallel commercial platform where Asian carbon sellers connect with international buyers.

Kyoto’s CDM allows rich countries to pay for emission reducing activities in the developing world and claim credits toward their own emission targets for doing so. Two billion or more of these credits, called CERs, are expected to be generated over the next five years under Kyoto’s first stage. The trade could be worth upwards of $40 billion worldwide over that period based on current prices.
