Presenters will explore trends today shaping the pharmaceutical, biotech, and device industries related to Medical Affairs.

Keynote address will be on how counterfeit drugs impact the safety of our drug supply. We will provide you with a list of measures companies can take to discover and divert these “imitation” drugs. We will evaluate the evolution of the Medical Science Liaison function, with an emphasis on how some of the changes may or may not be beneficial to companies.

We will discuss the appropriate management strategies companies may use as they undergo transitions due to mergers and acquisitions, product lifecycle modifications, and departmental reorganizations; we will show theconnection between the trends discussed and how to maximize the resources available to Medical Affairs.

All of the presentations will be summarized and we will conclude with a panel discussion and opportunity for you to pose your questions.
