The University of Texas Libraries is proud to host ALADN 2008 in Austin! The conference is planned for June 1–4, 2008, with the pre–conference program planned for June 1. Your conference hosts and program committees are working hard to create a conference reflecting what Austin is all about: relevant, meaningful conference content, combined with healthy doses of Texas hospitality spiced up, Austin style.

Speaking of style, "laid-back" is often the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions Austin. Keeping in the spirit, your ALADN 2008 conference will be a comfortable, business–casual affair. Our traditional banquet will be "Austin casual" – your best jeans and polished boots.
