CILA has developed to become the world’s leading aerospace trade show and conferences event. With about 100 international and national conferences and 7,700 registered participants, the conference program of ILA2006 set new international standards. Among the most important conferences were the "Conference of the Airbus Ministers", "MRO Military Europe", the "2nd Future Military Pilot Training Conference", the "Potential of Space for Security and Defense Conference", the "German-Arab Border & Coastal Surveillance Conference", the "Future Heavy Transport Helicopter Conference" and the "European General Aviation Conference" to name but a few.
