Highlights: There is a serious food problem in Africa. While the developed world is basking in food surpluses Africa continues to face famine. The problem of food is embedded in complex causes. Despite years of community, government and international concern about the African food situation the story seems to remain the same. The conference is to discuss food issues in Africa in all its ramifications and from all possible perspectives.
Papers are invited from interested persons from the academia, industry, international organizations, government and NGOs. Members of NAWCS are encouraged to send in their abstracts. Exhibitors should send a summary profile of their exhibition.
