On behalf of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA), the Chinese Ergonomics Society (CES) is pleased to announce that the 17th Congress of the IEA is going to be held on August 9-14, 2009 in Beijing, China.

The Congress is hosted by the CES with support of Ergonomics Society of Taiwan, China and Hong Kong Ergonomics Society, China. The CES is very pleased to invite all scientists of ergonomics and related disciplines in the world to attend the 17th Congress of IEA. Beijing, with a history of more than 3,400 years, is a world-famous city for its splendid culture and a hub of Chinese politics, culture and international exchanges. In recent years, Beijing has remained the focus of the world, particularly after the city won the bid of hosting 2008 Summer Olympic Games.

If you have been to Beijing before, please come to see the challenges and opportunities brought to the city by rapid changes. If you have not been to Beijing, please attend the IEA 2009 and enjoy the hospitality, friendliness, interesting culture, and delicious food.
