AfricaCom is the flagship event within the Com World Series and the premier pan-African communications event. For a decade, this event has comprised a high-level conference and co-located exhibition and year-on-year continues to be the best place to meet existing clients and build new contacts in the region. The 2008 event sees the introduction of the inaugural AfricaCom Awards 2008, which recognise and reward excellence in the African telecommunications markets.

The 2007 event attracted over 3,000 top level speakers, delegates, visitors and exhibitors. Over 40% of attendees were at board director level, 109 operator companies attended and over 90 companies were represented across Africa or internationally.
