The programme in Berlin will focus on translational and clinical research, detection, prevention and risk determination, local and regional treatment, prognostication, systemic treatment and prediction of optimal treatment allocation, new therapeutic modalities and breast cancer management issues. These topics will be addressed in teaching lectures, symposia, workshops, debates and poster sessions. The EBCC conference will provided a platform for clinicians, surgeons and gynecologists, radiotherapists, nurses together with breast cancer advocates and scientists to discuss issues in breast cancer treatment.

Sharing knowledge and experiences, exchanging ideas, are the ingredients that will ultimately lead to true progress in the field of breast cancer. The three European organisations EUSOMA, EORTC Breast Group and EUROPA DONNA have joined their voices and forces from the 1st European Breast Cancer Conference held in Florence and, truly, working in PARTNERSHIP to achieve the best for patients. Be an active part of this concerted effort, and join us in Berlin!
