Nanobiotechnology is a rapidly advancing area of scientific and technological opportunity that applies the tools and processes of nano/microfibrication to build devices for studying biosystems. The tools of nanotechnology allow us to address biological and medical problems with unprecedented accuracy and sensitivity. Intelligent drug delivery vehicles, novel nanobiosensors, nanomedical imaging techniques and other nanobiodevices are expected to speed up quantitative biological and medical research, boost our diagnostic capabilities, and increase the length and quality of our lives. At the same time, nanostructures created using biological processes are expected to reduce the production costs of newer nanodevices and nanomachines.

This congregation attempts to gather the leaders and stakeholders of these progressive fields, including venture capitalists, scientists, academicians, researchers, students and most importantly, the general public. The platform aims to update, discuss, network and exchange stimulating ideas on the most recent achievements in the different topics of molecular medicine and nanobiotechnology. Through this conference we hope to achieve closer links/ collaboration between scientists and engineers. We also aim at educating the general public and taking the fruits of research from lab level and realizing their potential benefits to society.
