This could have a range of impacts on the management of the grid including an increase in peak loads, the creation of artificial peaks and an overall impact on the quality of electricity supply. Because of this, there is an urgent need for utilities to collaborate with other stakeholders to find practical solutions for managing the impact of electric vehicles on the grid.
