Celt international seminar is scheduled every three years with the following aims: to incorporate culture into a competency-based English language curriculum- to implement cultural values into the teaching of English language in Indonesia- to find innovative ways to apply the study of linguistics in the Second and/ or Foreign language- to utilize literature to develop the understanding of culture- to promote the discipline of cultural studies in the teaching of language and literature
