A new era is approaching in Asia-Pacific metallurgy market, while the People's Republic of China, as one of the most fast-developing countries, considered and adopted the “Planning of Iron and Steel Industrial Restructuring and Revitalization". Planning requirements for strict control of the total iron and steel, out of the implementation of capacity, no further expansion of production capacity and guileless steel projects; to play the leading role of large groups, to promote corporate consolidation and reorganization, to cultivate international competitiveness of large and extra large steel group, optimize the industrial layout, and enhance concentration; to strengthening the technology innovation, development and introduction efforts, investment in infrastructure in the central budget shall be allocated special funds to promote the iron and steel industry, technological progress, adjust product structure, improve the quality of steel. 2009 alone, the State Council on the loans out 20 billion to speed up development of key industries such as steel common key technologies, the adjustment of product structure, the development of circular economy. Therefore, we decide to hold 'Asia Metallurgy Technology Summit 2010' on September 27th -28th in Shanghai, China. Based on the great potential of Asia’s metallurgy markets, this conference will be a high level exposure to 150+ powerful decision makers in Asian mining downstream sector in 2010. The high-level event aims to provide a face-to-face international networking platform for leaders, senior government officials and authoritative experts in global metallurgy industry, focusing on the opportunities and challenges in the metallurgy market of Asia-pacific region.
