On September 27-29 in Houston, TX IQPC will assemble the leading practitioners in the enhanced oil recovery market to discuss the latest techniques and project financing methods that will enable oil companies to extract additional oil that has been trapped and unrecoverable in mature oil fields for years.
There is a true sense of urgency for this event as there are new techniques that were not financially viable until the oil prices stabilized at their current $50-70 per barrel level. This opportunity is further fueled by the carbon sequestration market as companies are now figuring out ways to inject sequestered C02 into these mature oil fields to help extract the remaining oil in these fields.
